Rome, GA — July 1, 2024 — Yonah Capital, Ltd. Co., a private investment firm specializing in hospitality and experiential real estate assets across the Southeastern United States, today announced the successful acquisition of the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Rome, Georgia. The transaction closed on July 1, 2024.
As part of the acquisition, Yonah Capital plans to reposition the property through a comprehensive renovation and brand conversion to Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, an upscale portfolio of independent hotels known for unique design, strong local identity, and elevated guest experiences.

Strategic Repositioning and Investment
The planned Hilton Tapestry conversion will include targeted capital improvements focused on guestroom and common-area renovations, updated amenities and guest experience enhancements, design elements reflecting the history and character of Rome, Georgia, and integration into Hilton Honors®, Hilton’s global loyalty program.
Renovations are expected to be completed in phases to minimize disruption to guests and operations.

About the Property
Located in Rome, Georgia, the property has historically served extended-stay and transient travelers visiting Northwest Georgia. Upon completion of renovations, the hotel is expected to operate as a Hilton Tapestry Collection property, offering a boutique-style experience supported by Hilton’s global distribution platform.
